A transmission housing that rivals the genuine part of the time: The transmission housing for the Porsche 993 was reissued by Porsche Classic with the aim of ensuring incomparable genuine part quality in terms of mechanical processing and surface quality.

Just like in the original series-production models, a die-casting process was used to ensure an extremely fine and smooth surface. The surface finish not only looks identical to the original, but also boasts particularly good resistance to contamination and corrosion. For perfect fit accuracy and an optimum seal, the two halves of the housing have been machined to the highest possible standards of precision using drilling and milling techniques. The aluminum alloy used is a new material specification, which was approved by the Porsche Development Centre in Weissach.
